Our capital has enormous potential and with the Asu 500 Years International Forum we are working to recover it for all Paraguayans. Together with @LetiOcamposP we opened this space where we do not just look at the past to celebrate our history, but we look at the future, focused on how we are going to grow from now on. The public and private sectors and citizens come together to draw up the roadmap for the reconstruction of the historic center as an engine of investments, housing, development and jobs, accompanying the transformation of a Paraguay that today thinks of itself as a giant.

We arrived in Concepción with new homes, improvements in security, health services within reach of the people and the new CAIPI, a safe space where our children can grow and develop fully. We are going to continue touring all corners of the country, bringing closer a present State that takes care of its people, and always seeking the benefit of all Paraguayans.

We transform years of postponement into real opportunities for our people! In Concepción we bring concrete housing solutions with the delivery of 179 social homes and 55 subsidies for the families of Villa San Miguel. Each key we give is security, roots and the deep emotion of finally achieving the dream of one's own home. Seeing how the tears of waiting turn into tears of happiness when entering a new home drives us to continue advancing tirelessly so that every Paraguayan has their own home.

We verified the progress of the works of the future Concepcionero Producer Market, a project designed to enhance the work of our people and boost the economy of the entire north of the country. This modern infrastructure will provide fairgrounds with a decent, safe space with all the comprehensive services necessary to market their products, generating a direct impact on the development of the region and connecting the efforts of producers with more and better opportunities.

Together with Minister Claudia Centurión, we verified the progress of coastal defense and the future coastal avenue, a long-awaited work that will protect the city against the flooding of the Paraguay River. This project includes the rehabilitation of about 4 km of defense and 2 km of avenue, transforming the riverbank into a space for families. We promote the north of the country by generating connectivity and tourism, ensuring new development opportunities for all Concepcioneros.

At the Regional Hospital of Concepción I accompanied the free surgery program that restored vision to 114 patients in the area. By decentralizing care, we provide high-precision vision services without having to travel to Central. We continue working to bring quality medical services to all Paraguayans, in every corner of the country.

To see a child smile is to see the future of our country full of hope. In Concepción, with a lot of emotion and accompanied by the unconditional love and commitment of @LetiOcamposP, we enabled the new Semillas del Futuro center, a safe space where our children will receive comprehensive care, nutrition and all the affection they need from their first months of life. This CAIPI represents our embrace of the working mothers and families who sacrifice every day and our oath to protect these little ones so that tomorrow they become the giants that will make Paraguay shine.

This will be the future General Hospital of the East. This hospital center will mark a before and after for health in Alto Paraná and surrounding departments. It will initially have 56 intensive care units and 204 hospital beds, directly benefiting more than 1 million compatriots and bringing specialized and modern medical care to the region. We continue to strengthen the public health system, guaranteeing the care that every Paraguayan deserves.

Representing Paraguay, I accompanied the inauguration of the new president of Colombia, @ABDELAESPRIELLA. I wish you the greatest success in your management, with the assurance that we will continue working together for a more integrated, stronger region with constant progress for our nations.

I met with the former president of Colombia, Álvaro Uribe, along with the president of the Colombian Congress, Honorio Enríquez Pinedo, and congressmen. We discussed the strengthening of democracy, the importance of greater collaboration between our countries and we addressed priority regional issues, such as the need to shore up democracy in Venezuela. To continue generating better development conditions, we agreed to advance a bilateral legislative agenda, which is why we will soon receive a visit from a delegation of Colombian legislators in our country.

In an excellent meeting with the elected president of the sister Republic of Colombia, @ABDELAESPRIELLA, we discussed the strengthening of our bilateral relations. During the meeting we prioritized security cooperation and the joint fight against transnational organized crime, in addition to addressing a greater approach between Colombia and Mercosur to specifically enhance trade and investments with our country, charting a path of joint work for the future.

Today I convened the National Energy Roundtable because Paraguay is growing, and with that growth the demand for energy also increases. We have set a deadline of 30 days to present specific proposals on four fronts: a new institutional framework for the energy sector, the definition of large generation projects, the formation of an electricity table that integrates the public and private sectors, and clear criteria to serve the industries that demand more and more energy. I received the members of the Agrarian Advisory Council and the main production unions to discuss issues of importance for the productive sector, the engine of our economy. We review topics of interest and relevance for different sectors with a single objective: the growth of Paraguay. The only way to grow is by working together between the public and private sectors.

Honoring the history of our Armed Forces is keeping alive the legacy of those who bravely serve their country. At the Navy Command Headquarters, we inaugurated the Portal of Honor and Memory, the Gallery of Naval Commanders and Heroes, and the Planning and Strategic Direction Room. We take this step with the firm commitment to continue providing our forces with the necessary tools to anticipate and face the challenges of the future.
