What we do
OnRecord is a continuously updated archive of statements from heads of state and government around the world. Every quote is linked to its original source.
Where the data comes from
Quotes are collected from official government press pages, leader social media accounts, video transcripts of speeches and interviews, and a small set of curated news feeds. Each record stores the source URL, the publish date, and a human-readable source label.
Editorial policy
We record what was said; we don't paraphrase. Translations, where needed, are clearly marked. Corrections are welcome — every quote page links back to its original source for verification.
