This summer, a total of 90 fires broke out across our country, 59 of which were in non-forest areas. 81 of these fires were completely brought under control. We are currently working to control the fires in Muğla, Balıkesir, Antalya and Çanakkale...

All of the areas burned in forest fires yielded seeds and saplings. As some people who "built a nest in the mouth of lies" claimed, saplings rose in those areas, not hotels. We not only afforested the burned areas, but also strengthened our capacity to fight fires.

No one should doubt this: Turkey has the power, knowledge and potential to overcome all kinds of difficulties. As long as there is "trust in politics and stability in administration", with God's permission, every problem will be solved, every trouble will be eliminated, every obstacle will be overcome.

We carefully follow every step taken by those who try to turn the tensions in our region into an opportunity and want to make Cyprus a part of new military structures and geopolitical calculations. Here I remind those who miscalculated this fact: Turkey will never leave its Turkish Cypriot brothers alone today or tomorrow, as it did throughout history, 52 years ago, and will never allow old pains to be experienced again, at any cost. To extinguish these fires, 21 aircraft, 58 helicopters and a total of 929 land vehicles, including 420 water tankers, 142 water tankers and 76 construction equipment, and 3 thousand 210 personnel are working intensively. I sincerely hope that the 2nd Communication Council, organized with the theme of "Turkey's Century: The Century of Communication", will be beneficial for our country, our nation and our communication world. We see the fight against all kinds of disinformation as a national security issue for our country, democracy and social peace. Because today, disinformation has gone beyond spreading false information; It has turned into an asymmetric element that weakens the sense of unity and trust of societies, including us, and threatens democracies.
