A policy that does not have people at its center, has no honesty, and has no concern for producing works and services will bring no good to either the country or the nation. Those who see politics as a career path, a path to profit, or a path to personal prosperity will not be of any use to Turkey. The recent corruption and immorality scandals in municipalities have clearly demonstrated this. It has become clear who thinks only about their nation and country, and who only thinks about their money, career, whims and desires. Turkey no longer has the tolerance for such a form of politics. We have to save Turkey from the politics of exploitation as well as from the front politics based solely on anti-government. Of course, we can criticize each other. There may be issues that we do not find right, that we see as lacking, or that we call wrong. But none of these should prevent us from coming together when the issue is Turkey, our democracy, and the eternal brotherhood of the Turkish nation. This vision lies behind our call for "Ankara-centered politics" that we have been expressing for a while. This is what we mean when we say "Greater Türkiye consensus"; It is the unity, solidarity and shared destiny of 86 million people; to unite around the same ideals.

Merkezinde insan olmayan, dürüstlük olmayan, eser ve hizmet üretme kaygısı olmayan bir siyasetten ne ülkeye ne de millete hayır gelir. Siyaseti kariyer kapısı, rant kapısı, şahsi ikbal kapısı olarak görenlerin de Türkiye’ye hiçbir faydası dokunmaz. Son dönemde belediyelerde yaşanan yolsuzluk ve ahlaksızlık skandalları bunu çok net biçimde göstermiştir. Kimin milleti ve memleketi düşündüğü, kimin de sadece kesesini, sadece kariyerini, heva ve hevesini düşündüğü ortaya çıkmıştır. Türkiye’nin artık böyle bir siyaset biçimine tahammülü de toleransı da yoktur. Türkiye’yi istismar siyasetinden olduğu gibi salt iktidar karşıtlığı üzerine kurulu cephe siyasetinden de kurtarmak zorundayız. Tabii ki birbirimize eleştirilerimiz olabilir. Doğru bulmadığımız, eksik gördüğümüz, yanlış dediğimiz konular olabilir. Ama bunların hiçbiri mesele Türkiye olduğunda, mesele demokrasimiz olduğunda, Türk milletinin ezelî ve ebedî kardeşliği olduğunda bir araya gelmemize engel teşkil etmemelidir. Bizim bir süredir dile getirdiğimiz “Ankara merkezli siyaset” çağrımızın arka planında işte bu tasavvur vardır. “Büyük Türkiye mutabakatı” derken de kastımız budur; 86 milyonun birliği, beraberliği, kader ortaklığıdır; aynı idealler etrafında kenetlenmesidir.
