As the People's Alliance, we have taken a historic step with our terrorism-free Turkey process. Our parliament gave us very strong support with an unprecedented broad consensus of 467; Our nation took a determined stance to completely close the book of terrorism. This being the case, it is a great irresponsibility to turn this issue into a polemical material for the party's interests and to make damaging criticisms. Doing politics based on the blood of our martyrs and the sacrifices of our veterans is unconscionable, in a word, unconsciousness. Everyone should act with common sense and follow a policy that focuses on Turkey instead of playing with society's nerve endings. In particular, actions and discourses that will provide material for those who hope for help from Turkey's stumble should be avoided. I say it again: Our country has no choice but to pursue its big goals for the future. Because if we give up, our country will lose its golden years. Because if we take a step back, the young people who are the future of Turkey will lose. We have to achieve this despite those who want Turkey to lose and skid.

Terörsüz Türkiye sürecimizle Cumhur İttifakı olarak tarihî bir adım attık. Meclisimiz, 467 gibi daha önce görülmedik geniş bir uzlaşıyla bize çok güçlü destek verdi; milletimiz, terör defterinin tamamen kapanması noktasında kararlı bir duruş sergiledi. Hal böyleyken bu konuyu parti çıkarları için polemik malzemesi haline getirmek, tahrip edici eleştirilerde bulunmak büyük bir sorumsuzluktur. Şehitlerimizin kanı, gazilerimizin fedakârlıkları üzerinden siyaset yapmak vicdansızlıktır, tek kelimeyle şuursuzluktur. Herkes aklıselimle hareket etmeli, toplumun sinir uçlarıyla oynamak yerine Türkiye’yi merkeze alan bir siyaset izlemelidir. Özellikle Türkiye’nin tökezlemesinden medet umanlara malzeme verecek eylem ve söylemlerden uzak durulmalıdır. Tekrar söylüyorum: Ülkemizin, gelecekle ilgili büyük hedeflerini kovalamak dışında bir seçeneği yoktur. Çünkü vazgeçersek ülkemiz altın değerinde yıllarını kaybeder. Çünkü geri adım atarsak Türkiye’nin istikbali olan gençler kaybeder. Türkiye’nin kaybetmesini, patinaj yapmasını isteyenlere rağmen bunu başarmak mecburiyetindeyiz.
