This afternoon, I welcomed representatives of the Inter-Campus Guild Council of The University of the West Indies, which brings together student leaders from across the University’s regional campuses.

Our engagement provided an opportunity to hear directly from student leaders across the campuses and discuss matters affecting students and young people.

We discussed student development, leadership, education and opportunities for young people, while sharing perspectives on issues of national and regional importance.

I value these engagements as we listen to our young people and ensure their voices are part of the wider conversation on the future of our region.
