Permanent Secretaries are at the centre of Jamaica’s transformation, and the relationship between the Minister and Permanent Secretary is critical to getting government’s work done.

I am asking for urgency and action, but never at the expense of compliance or accountability. We can move quickly and still follow the rules.

At the end of the day, Jamaicans are looking to us to solve problems, deliver on our promises and improve their lives. That means making decisions, working together and getting things done.

The responsibility is ours, and we must deliver.
