I had a surprise informal courtesy call from two of our top athletes and sports ambassadors, Asafa Powell and Junelle Lyles.

We had a long chat about life after sports, Jamaica’s athletic institutions and what is needed to keep it strong and dominant.

We also reflected on the life of coach Francis and the contribution of all our great coaches, not only to Jamaican athletes, but to the sport in general using coaching innovations and integrating technology.
