Government must work for the people.

I have made it clear that files cannot sit on desks, approvals cannot be unnecessarily delayed, and public servants must do their jobs without using their positions to frustrate the Government’s lawful mandate.

Ministers set the policy direction, while Permanent Secretaries and the public service must make sure that direction is carried out properly and efficiently.

At the end of the day, Jamaicans want to see things get done. We must know who is responsible, work together, and move with urgency to deliver for our people.
