In front of the López Palace, we inaugurate the beautiful image of Our Lady of the Assumption, our Patron Saint and Marshal of the Armed Forces. This work, which was blessed today, stands over our bay, as a symbol of the identity and maternal protection that has guided our people since 1537.
May his image always remind us of who we are, where we come from and the faith that unites us. Long live Our Lady of the Assumption and long live Paraguay!

Frente al Palacio de López, inauguramos la bellísima imagen de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, nuestra Santa Patrona y Mariscala de las Fuerzas Armadas. Esta obra, que hoy fue bendecida, se alza sobre nuestra bahía, como símbolo de la identidad y la protección maternal que ha guiado a nuestro pueblo desde 1537. Que su imagen nos recuerde siempre quiénes somos, de dónde venimos y la fe que nos une. ¡Que viva Nuestra Señora de la Asunción y que viva el Paraguay!
