This morning, I welcomed Roderick “Oliver” Mair for a courtesy call ahead of his appointment as Jamaica’s Consul General in New York.

Oliver brings more than seven years of experience serving as Consul General in Miami and will now take on the responsibility of leading Jamaica’s largest overseas consular jurisdiction.

I wish him every success as he begins this new assignment and continues to serve Jamaicans in the United States.
