I want to see more Jamaicans investing in agriculture with confidence, knowing that the right training and support are available.

During my visit to Denbigh, I was encouraged to learn that students from the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) are being prepared not only in agricultural production, but also in farm management, accounting, finance, marketing and the use of technology.

Strong farm management is just as important as farming itself. That is why I was pleased to hear that CASE already offers training in these areas and can even create customised programmes to meet the needs of farmers and investors.

We are equipping more Jamaicans with the practical skills to build successful careers and businesses in agriculture.
