The Government of Jamaica is advising the public that above-normal temperatures are expected across Jamaica through August 29, 2026. The outlook shows warmer-than-normal conditions for the periods August 9–15, August 16–22, and August 23–29.

As temperatures remain elevated, the public is encouraged to stay hydrated, limit prolonged exposure to the midday heat, and check on children, older persons and other vulnerable individuals.
