Today, I conferred upon Dr. Abdu Muwonge Sierra Leone’s distinguished national honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Rokel (GCOR), in recognition of his exemplary service and the successful completion of his tenure as World Bank Country Manager for Sierra Leone.

Dr. Muwonge has been more than a friend to Sierra Leone; he has been an exceptional development partner whose dedication and contribution extended far beyond the call of duty. I extend my heartfelt appreciation for his service and wish him every success in his next assignment.
