Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Heads to New York to Participate in 81st Session of UN General Assembly ••••• Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi heads today, Monday, to New York to participate in the meetings of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly and deliver Iraq’s address before representatives of the UN member states. In his address, the Prime Minister will present Iraq’s positions on regional and international developments and crises, as well as the Iraqi government’s approach to addressing the economic and development challenges facing the country. The Prime Minister will also highlight the significant steps Iraq is taking toward economic reform, diversifying sources of income and Gross National Product (GNP), combating corruption, opening the country to investment, and reinforcing national sovereignty. The Prime Minister will hold a series of bilateral meetings and talks with a number of heads of state, heads of government, and heads of participating delegations.
