Arab capitals, Sept. 20 (SANA)Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait and Yemenon Sunday condemned attacks by theHouthi militiaagainstSaudi Arabia, including a ballistic missile launch toward Riyadh and attempted attacks on several Saudi cities, expressing solidarity with the Kingdom and support for measures to protect its security and sovereignty.

Egypt’s Foreign Ministrysaid in a statement on X that it strongly condemned the attacks targeting Riyadh on Saturday, describing them as a violation of Saudi Arabia’s security and regional stability. It warned that the attacks could increase tensions in the region.

Bahrain’s Foreign Ministrysaid the attacks violated international and humanitarian law, theU.N. Charterand relevantSecurity Council resolutions. It expressed support for Saudi Arabia and praised the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces for intercepting and destroying the missile launched toward Riyadh.

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministryalso condemned attempts to target civilians and civilian facilities in Saudi cities, reaffirming its support for measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its security and sovereignty.

Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairscondemned the missile launch toward Riyadh and attempted attacks targeting Bish, Taif, the Farasan Islands and Yanbu. It affirmed Yemen’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia and said it supports measures to deter attacks and protect the Kingdom’s security.

Major General Turki Al-Malki, spokesperson for theCoalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen,said Saturday that the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia toward Riyadh and thwarted attempts to target other Saudi cities.
