And this week President Lula signed into law the Redata bill from our minister Fernando Haddad, which will attract 500 billion in investments to Brazil in data centers, creating jobs and work opportunities, and São Paulo will be able to receive large and significant investments. Guarulhos has the largest airport in Latin America, and with President Lula, we are breaking export records worldwide. It was President Lula who brokered the Mercosur-Singapore agreement. Mercosur EFTA, Mercosur European Union. We have lower unemployment than Márcio França, and the government removed income tax for those earning up to 5,000 and reduced it for those earning up to 7,350. Tarcísio was unable to handle the problems he intended to solve. In contrast, São Paulo has regressed on a number of issues that matter to each of you. The education system in São Paulo, which ranked first in high school quality under Geraldo Alpin's administration in 2015, fell to 10th place under Tarcísio's government . How can anyone want to industrialize the state while offering a quality education that ranks tenth in the country, compared to states with far fewer resources that are doing better? Cross-referencing in healthcare doesn't work. Those waiting here for exams, consultations, and surgery at the cross-border center are not receiving their schedules. Appointments are not scheduled, and for surgeries, President Lula, the average waiting time is 11 months. This is provided by the state itself. If you compare what Bolsonaro did for Dória and multiply it by four, it won't equal what President Lula did for the state of São Paulo during Tarcísio's administration. Tarcísio's ingratitude, Tarcísio's ingratitude towards what we did in the federal government— quadrupling BNDES funding and renegotiating São Paulo's debt—is the federal government's obligation. But the person didn't need to hide this from the public, didn't need to lie to the public. So we have a team of liars on one side and a team of people who work for the good of the people on the other. I want to remind you that you have two votes for the Senate. You don't have to choose between Simone and Marina. You can vote for both women to represent us in the Federal Senate. This week I was at the Alvorada Palace recording a television program. The cake was with me, and two young men who worked at the Palácio da Volada passed by. And I, out of curiosity, we were discussing BEPS and out of curiosity I called the two boys over to talk. One of them already owed R$ 4,000 and the other already owed R$ 10,000. And someone who earns four and owes ten will have a lot of difficulty paying. I decided to call eight people from Brasília to talk about Bet. And look, I was stunned. I found a small business owner who owed 2 million. He had already sold his store, he had already sold his car, he had even sold his father's land, which he could n't [laughs] sell to pay off the debt. I found a 27-year-old girl, the owner of a store in the interior of Minas Gerais, who owes R$ 730,000. I found a woman who owes R$ 10,000 and has already tried to kill herself twice. I met another woman who argued with her husband because she owed him R$ 30,000 and he didn't know. [laughter] This woman would get up at night to gamble, hiding it from her husband. This woman would take a shower, take her cell phone with her, and throw it under the shower so her husband would n't know she was playing. The most serious case I encountered was with the woman who watched her 26-year-old son hang himself because he owed money on this betting game. True. So I want you all to know, if it were up to me, I would end this country's mess. [applause] Brad, when that whole CR thing started here in Brazil, that drug we [laughs] see in Carcolândia, I remember meeting mothers and they'd say to me: "Oh Lula, my son took the gas cylinder off the stove to sell it, to buy crack. Oh Lula, my son stole the shelf, the food that was on the shelf, [laughs] the beans, the rice to sell, to buy crack. Oh Lula, my son was selling my bed to buy crack, and Haddad was the only mayor who treated people with respect and decency. And I wanted to talk to you, this Bet thing is the most horrific thing I've ever seen. I had no idea. I talked to the girl who tried to kill herself three times by cutting her wrists. Even worse, comrades, I'm going to tell you this, shockingly. The other day I did a collection [laughs] and got some money from people." 24,000 to pay a guy who owed money to Bet. He owed money to Giota. I called this guy and we paid him. Four months passed, I ran into him this week and asked if he was gambling? He started crying, said: "I owe [laughs] R$ 50,000, Mr. President." I've already spent your 24, I owe another 50, I'm going to kill myself because it's an illness. So I decided that I'm going to stop betting. [applause] But I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to tell you something. Today, today the football teams led by Flamengo [laughs] and Corinthians and the whole team said that if I [laughs] get rid of the betas, I'll be ruining football.
