Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Receives Children with Diabetes, Reaffirms Government Support ••••• Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received today, Saturday, a group of children with diabetes from the Children with Diabetes Care Association (CDCA), along with their families, in the presence of the Minister of Health. The Prime Minister affirmed that caring for children with diabetes and standing by them is both a humanitarian and governmental responsibility. He stressed the government’s commitment to providing them with the best possible healthcare and treatment and enabling them to continue their lives, education, and activities normally. The Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Finance to provide the Ministry of Health with the necessary financial allocations to secure the medications, medical devices, and supplies needed by children with diabetes, affirming that their healthcare needs receive the government’s direct attention. During the meeting, Director of the Children with Diabetes Care Association (CDCA) Lina Samir Faiq outlined the children’s most important needs and requirements. She expressed her thanks and appreciation for the Prime Minister’s initiative in receiving the Association and for his directives to provide the children with the necessary treatment and medical devices.
