President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at a drawing ceremony held in Istanbul for the appointment of martyrs’ relatives, ghazis and ghazis’ relatives to public institutions.
Stressing that martyrs have sacrificed their lives in order for the 86 million to live in peace, security and solidarity, President Erdoğan said that ghazis, likewise, have shed their blood in order for the nation to live a free and independent life in an influential and reputable country, and added: “Our sole and most important duty is to realize this target of our martyrs and ghazis by joining forces as the state and the nation. We are managing the terror-free Türkiye process, which we have launched to completely eliminate the scourge of terror that has brought great tragedies to our homes for half a century, as a state project. We have made significant progress over the past two years despite all the provocations and traps.”
Underscoring that the terror-free Türkiye process has made strategic contributions to the commonsensical management of wars and crises occurring in Iran and Türkiye’s near environ, the Gulf region in particular, President Erdoğan stated: “Praise be to Allah and thanks to our country’s efforts, the plans to pit brother against brother by lighting new fires of fitnah have been foiled. In the similar vein, we have gotten promising news from our neighbor Syria a little while ago. We see that the issue of terror has been resolved in peace there, too, without shedding brothers’ blood.”
President Erdoğan added that they provide their Syrian brothers and sisters with all kinds of support and contributions, and that they will ensure peace and stability in the entire region.
