The event was attended by athletes’ family members, the general public, fans, and experts.

The tournament featured 41 teams and 164 paralympic chess players from 36 countries. Three teams represented Uzbekistan.

The Uzbekistan-1 team triumphed at the championships. In the decisive 7th round, it defeated Israel 2.5:1.5, earning 11 points and a bronze medal.

For the first time in its history, the Uzbekistan national team won the 3rd FIDE Chess Olympiad for People with Disabilities 2026.
