According to him, the new program should give bilateral cooperation a more regular, substantive, and practice-oriented character.
The Prosecutor General of Russia also proposed scheduling the program’s first expert event soon. The event is expected to focus on applying digital technologies to combat corruption. He particularly noted Uzbekistan’s growing contribution to shaping the international anti-corruption agenda. In particular, he recalled that in 2027, Uzbekistan will host the 12th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC COSP12).
Signing the program aims to further develop interdepartmental cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan to prevent and combat corruption.
