Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 19 (SANA)Two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded on Saturday as Israeli occupation forces carried out strikes across different areas of theGaza Strip.

Medical sources, reported that one man was killed in an Israeli bombardment targeting the al-Shuja’iya neighborhood east of Gaza City, while a young girl succumbed to injuries sustained from Israeli gunfire north of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.According to Palestinian news agency WAFA, several people were injured, including one in critical condition, following a drone strike west of Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza.

Meanwhile, in theWest Bank,Israeli forcesarrested former prisoner Ibrahim Alaa Omar after raiding his home in Deir Al-Ghusun, north of Tulkarm. Occupation troops also set up a military checkpoint beneath Jabara Bridge at the southern entrance of Tulkarm, stopping and searching vehicles, which caused heavy traffic disruption.

In Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, Israeli forces stormed several homes, detaining two residents for hours before releasing them. In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, settlers cut the main water line supplying the village of Ad-Diqiqa, depriving around 700 residents of their primary water source.

In Al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah, settlers opened live fire toward Palestinian homes without causing injuries, while occupation forces raided two houses in the village.

The escalation follows Friday’s attacks, in which Israeli soldiers and settlers killed one Palestinian and wounded others in Gaza and the West Bank.
