Damascus, Sept. 19 (SANA)The price of 21 karatgoldinSyriaincreased by 50 Syrian pounds on Saturday compared to Thursday’s rate.

According to the latest bulletin issued by the General Authority for Precious Metals Management, the price of one gram of 21 karat gold reached 16,600 Syrian pounds for sales and 16,300 pounds for purchases. The 18 karat gram was set at 14,200 pounds for sales and 13,900 pounds for purchases.

On theinternational market, the price of an ounce of gold stood at 4,378 US dollars.
