Before beginning his trip, the Head of State visited the home of the prominent statesman and public figure Kallibek Kamalov. Surahs from the Qur’an were recited, and a prayer was offered for the deceased.

The Head of State recalled his worthy life, good deeds, and contributions to the development of his native region. He emphasized that honoring the memory of those who have passed away and showing respect for elders serve as an example for the younger generation.

Kallibek Kamalov, who passed away in February this year, held senior positions in Karakalpakstan for many years and made a significant contribution to the region’s socio-economic development, the advancement of industry and agriculture, and the improvement of people’s living standards.

In recent years, as Chairman of the Public Council of Veterans, he actively supported the older generation, strengthened social harmony, and educated young people. His merits were recognized with the Shuhrat Medal and the El-Yurt Hurmati Order.
