Israeli occupation forces detain young man in western Daraa countryside
Daraa, Sept. 18 (SANA)Israeli occupation forces detained a young man Friday during an incursion into the Wadi al-Raqqad area near Jamla in the westernDaraa countryside, local sources told SANA.
The man, from the village of al-Muallaqa in theQuneitra countryside, lives in Wadi al-Raqqad and works as a cattle herder, the sources said.
Israeli occupationforces last Sunday detained another young man from al-Asha village in the southern Quneitra countryside while he was grazing sheep west of al-Rafid, near a United Nations position.
Israeli occupation forces have continued incursions into southern Syria, including raids on civilian homes, arrests and the bulldozing of land, in violation of the1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Syria has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that measures taken by Israel are null and void under international law. Damascus has called on the international community to press Israel for a complete withdrawal from southern Syria.
