As part of the project, the public wastewater collection system in the 2019 Kranj agglomeration will be extended. The project will construct 19,668 metres of wastewater sewerage and connect an additional 2,880 person equivalents to the sewerage system. The investment will help reduce environmental pollution and improve quality of life.

The project is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021-2027and is co-financed by the Cohesion Fund.

The project, worth €27,076,582.18, will receive €7,925,159.27in EU funding. The Urban Municipality of Kranj is the beneficiary of the funding.
