One million Dominicans will have the opportunity to train in artificial intelligence. This is the goal of RD Inteligente, the new national artificial intelligence literacy program presented this week by President Luis Abinader. [music] And it wasn't the only news that points towards a better future. Welcome to a new weekly recap via Hitla. RD Inteligente will bring artificial intelligence training to students, young entrepreneurs, teachers, public servants, SMEs and citizens throughout the country. The goal is to give more Dominicans the tools to take advantage of the opportunities of the new digital economy. Furthermore, starting a business will also be much easier. Now, with 24- hour companies, [music] the processes for creating a company will be integrated into a single platform, [music] thus reducing procedures, time and costs. And there are economic results that also [music] marked the week. During the weekly agenda, we learned that monetary poverty fell from 16.65% [music] in the second quarter of 2025 to 13.75% [music] in the same period this year, 2026. Furthermore, [music] the economy accumulated growth of 4.5% as of July 2026 [music], and formal employment increased from 41.9% in 2021 to 45.9% by the end of [music] 2025. This represents more than 200,000 [music] workers who now have health insurance rights and contributions for suspensions. The national earthquake evacuation drill was also carried out , strengthening the preparedness of institutions and citizens to respond to an emergency and protect lives. And the Dominican Republic and the United States agreed to cooperate on critical minerals and rare earth elements, opening up new opportunities for investment and development. And one of the most important moments this week was the day of prayer sponsored by President Luis Abinader with representatives of the Catholic and Evangelical churches in an act of thanksgiving and care for the Dominican Republic.
