Damascus, Sept. 17 (SANA)Syria strongly condemned the Houthi militia’s drone attack targeting Taif Governorate inSaudi Arabia, which killed one person and injured two others, describing it as a flagrant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability.

“The Syrian Arab Republic expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack launched by the Houthi militia using a drone against Taif Governorate in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” theMinistry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriatessaid in a statement on Thursday.

The Ministry reaffirmed Syria’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its territory, security and stability.

It also extended its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the deceased and the Saudi people, wished the injured a speedy recovery.
