EU Inc. Explained: Europe’s New Plan to Start a Business in 48 Hours for €100

You've built a company, it works in Spain, now you want to take it to Germany? Well, not exactly. You will face new paperwork, different company rules. Extra forms in languages you might not even speak. But that could soon change. We have a single market, but not a single set of rules. The European Commission has a plan to change that it's called EU Inc. Think of it as a Common European Rulebook. A new system designed to make setting up and growing a business across Europe easier, faster, and fully digital. Instead of trying to patch together different national laws every time you expand, you could choose one single European model once at of rules that work for your company across the whole EU. Right now, expanding abroad feels like meaning multiple logins forms in different languages, and a few couple of coffees just to get started. EU Inc. aims to be one system you can actually understand and use everywhere. The plan is to let you register your company in 48 hours for less than €100, and even for more complex setups, the whole process stays digital. To start your business, you won't need a huge pile of cash upfront to meet minimum capital rules, and you'll save time to focus on your company. Less red tape, more room to build. But building needs capital. And this is where EU Inc. changes the game for funding. Because the EU Inc. structure is standardised, it makes much easier to attract major funding and investors not just from Europe, but globally. Your business will pay taxes under the normal existing rules of the country where it is based. Exactly like any other local company, EU Inc. is simply a business setup designed to help you grow across borders while respecting national tax systems. national labour and social rules still apply. No shortcuts there. EU Inc. encourages countries to set up specialised courts for companies to keep things moving. The Commission's proposal to set up EU Inc. is currently being negotiated by the European Parliament and the Council. Once it gets approved, it would create one central EU online platform linking national systems, so businesses only need to submit their information once. EU Inc. is about making the single market live up to its name, and fewer headaches. Find the full proposal in the description below and tell us
