His Majesty King Abdullah II met with Lebanon President Gen. Joseph Aoun in Paris on Wednesday, ahead of the latest round of Aqaba Process meetings, which are scheduled to take place on Thursday to address ways to support the Lebanese Armed Forces.

His Majesty reaffirmed Jordan’s solidarity with Lebanon and its continued support for the preservation of its security, stability and sovereignty, emphasising the need to put an end to Israel’s attacks on Lebanese territory.

For his part, President Aoun expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s stance, under the leadership of His Majesty, in support of Lebanon and its people, and commended the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts and solidarity with Lebanon.
