Sabine Machl, the UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan, said the exhibition showcases the country’s diversity through art. She expressed that it’s rewarding to see works by artists depicting various regions like Samarkand, the Aral Sea, and Karakalpakstan.

Chairman of the Academy of Arts Akmal Nur also stressed the importance of implementing such joint projects.

The plan is to broaden the exposition format and showcase Uzbek art not only to the diplomatic community but also to foreign experts, businesses, and organizations in Tashkent.

The organizers expressed confidence that the Diplomacy and Art Gallery will become a distinctive space for cultural exchange, strengthening international relations and promoting contemporary art in Uzbekistan.
