ත්‍රිකුණාමලය දිස්ත්‍රික් මහ රෝහලේ නව හෘද රෝග ඒකක ගොඩනැගිල්ලේ ඉදිකිරීම් ආරම්භ කිරීමේ අවස්ථාවට අද (16) පෙරවරුවේ එක්වීමි. නැගෙනහිර පළාතේ ජනතාවට එකම ස්ථානයකින් පුළුල් සහ නවීන හෘද රෝග සත්කාර සේවා ලබා දීමේ අරමුණින් සියලු පහසුකම්වලින් සමන්විතව මහල් 08කින් යුතුව ඉදිකෙරෙන මෙම ගොඩනැගිල්ල සදහා වැය කෙරෙන මුදල රුපියල් මිලියන 2,403කි. නැගෙනහිර පළාතේ සෞඛ්‍ය සේවාවේ නව පරිච්ඡේදයක් ආරම්භ කිරීම උදෙසා ලබා දුන් මිත්‍රශීලී සහාය වෙනුවෙන් ජපාන රජයට සහ ජපාන ජාත්‍යන්තර සහයෝගිතා නියෝජිතායතනයටද (JICA), මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සඳහා කැප වී කටයුතු කරන සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය ඇතුළු සියලු පාර්ශ්ව වෙතද ස්තූතිය පළ කළෙමි. திருகோணமலை மாவட்ட பொது மருத்துவமனையின் புதிய இருதய சிகிச்சை பிரிவின் நிர்மாணப் பணிகளின் ஆரம்ப நிகழ்வில் இன்று (16) முற்பகல் கலந்து கொண்டேன். கிழக்கு மாகாண மக்களுக்கு ஒரே இடத்தில் விரிவான மற்றும் நவீன தொழிநுட்பத்துடன் கூடிய இருதய சிகிச்சைகளுக்கான வசதிகளை வழங்கும் நோக்கில் 08 மாடிகளைக் கொண்டதாக நிர்மாணிக்கப்படும் இக்கட்டிடத்திற்காக செலவிடப்படும் தொகை 2,403 மில்லியன் ரூபாவாகும். கிழக்கு மாகாணத்தின் சுகாதார சேவையில் புதிய அத்தியாயத்தைத் தொடங்குவதற்காக வழங்கிய நட்பு ரீதியிலான உதவிக்காக ஜப்பான் அரசாங்கத்திற்கும், ஜப்பான் சர்வதேச ஒத்துழைப்பு நிறுவனத்திற்கும் (JICA), இத்திட்டத்திற்காக அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செயல்படுகின்ற சுகாதார அமைச்சு உட்பட அனைத்துத் தரப்பினருக்கும் நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்தேன். I joined the commencement of construction work on the new Cardiology Unit building at the District General Hospital in Trincomalee this morning (16). The eight-storey building, which will be equipped with all the necessary facilities, is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 2,403 million, with the aim of providing comprehensive and modern cardiac care services to the people of the Eastern Province at a single location. I expressed my appreciation to the Government of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for their friendly assistance in helping to usher in a new chapter in healthcare services in the Eastern Province, as well as to the Ministry of Health and all other parties committed to the successful implementation of this project.
