Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 16 (SANA)The Palestinian death toll inGazasince October 2023 has risen to 73,795, with 174,869 people injured, thePalestinian Health Ministrysaid Wednesday.

The ministry said hospitals in Gaza had recorded six deaths and 71 injuries over the past 24 hours.

Since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, 1,381 Palestinians have been killed and 4,757 injured, according to the ministry.

It said more victims remained under rubble and on roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.

The war has caused widespread destruction across Gaza, damaging homes and infrastructure and severely disrupting essential services, while restrictions on the entry of relief supplies and reconstruction materials have compounded humanitarian conditions.
