මන්නාරම දිස්ත්රික් මහ රෝහලේ හදිසි අනතුරු සහ හදිසි ප්රතිකාර ඒකකයේ ඉදිකිරීම් කටයුතු ආරම්භ කිරීමේ අවස්ථාවට අද (16) පෙරවරුවේ එක්වීමි. මන්නාරම ප්රදේශයේ ජනතාව වෙත සැපයෙන සෞඛ්ය සේවා සහ පහසුකම් තවදුරටත් පුළුල් කිරීමේ අරමුණින් ඉන්දීය රජයේ ප්රදාන මගින්, රුපියල් මිලියන 600ක වියදමින් ඉදිකිරීමට නියමිත මෙම හදිසි අනතුරු සහ හදිසි ප්රතිකාර ඒකකය සියලු නවීන පහසුකම්වලින් සමන්විතය. මන්නාරම ජනතාවට කොළඹ ඇතුළු ප්රධාන නගර කරා ගමන් කිරීමකින් තොරව හදිසි අනතුරු ප්රතිකාර සහ අනෙකුත් විශේෂඥ සෞඛ්ය සේවා ලබා ගැනීමට මෙමගින් අවස්ථාව සැලසෙන අතර, මෙම ව්යාපෘතිය මෙරට නිදහස් සෞඛ්ය සේවා ප්රාදේශීය මට්ටමින් තවදුරටත් ශක්තිමත් කිරීමේ වැදගත් පියවරක් ලෙස අගයමින්, ඊට දායකත්වය ලබා දුන් ඉන්දියානු අග්රාමාත්යවරයා ඇතුළු එම රජයටත්, අනෙකුත් සියලු පාර්ශ්ව වෙතත් කෘතඥතාව පළ කළෙමි. மன்னார் மாவட்ட பொது மருத்துவமனையின் திடீர் விபத்து மற்றும் அவசர சிகிச்சைப் பிரிவின் நிர்மாணப் பணிகளின் ஆரம்ப நிகழ்வில் இன்று (16) முற்பகல் கலந்துகொண்டேன். மன்னார் பகுதி மக்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் சுகாதார சேவைகளையும் வசதிகளையும் மேலும் விரிவுபடுத்துவதற்காக, இந்திய அரசின் நிதியுதவியுடன் 600 மில்லியன் ரூபா செலவில் நிர்மாணிக்கப்படவுள்ள இந்த திடீர் விபத்து மற்றும் அவசர சிகிச்சைப் பிரிவு அனைத்து நவீன வசதிகளையும் கொண்டுள்ளது. மன்னார் மக்கள் கொழும்பு உள்ளிட்ட முக்கிய நகரங்களுக்குச் செல்லாமல் திடீர் விபத்துச் சிகிச்சைகள் மற்றும் ஏனைய விசேட சுகாதார சேவைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள இதனால் வாய்ப்புக் கிடைக்கும். மேலும், இத்திட்டம் நமது நாட்டின் இலவச சுகாதார சேவையைப் பிரதேச மட்டத்தில் மேலும் வலுப்படுத்துவதற்கான ஒரு முக்கியமான படியாகப் பாராட்டி, இதற்குப் பங்களிப்பு வழங்கிய இந்தியப் பிரதமர் உள்ளிட்ட இந்திய அரசாங்கத்திற்கும், ஏனைய அனைத்துத் தரப்பினர்களுக்கும் எனது நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்தேன். I participated this morning (16) in the commencement of construction work on the new Accident and Emergency Unit at the District General Hospital in Mannar. Constructed at a cost of Rs. 600 million with grant assistance from the Government of India, the new Accident and Emergency Unit will be equipped with modern medical facilities and is intended to further expand and strengthen healthcare services available to the people of Mannar. The establishment of this facility will enable the people of Mannar to receive emergency trauma care and other specialised medical services closer to home, without the need to travel to Colombo or other major cities. This represents an important step towards further strengthening Sri Lanka’s free healthcare system at the regional level and ensuring that quality healthcare services are accessible to people across the country. I expressed my sincere appreciation to the Government of India, including the Prime Minister, for its valuable contribution towards this initiative, as well as to all other institutions and stakeholders who have supported the project.
