I am Aline Souza, I am a waste picker and I am a mother of seven children. I am studying law. My name is Daniela, I am a mother of three children, [music] I have an autistic grandson and I am a housekeeper. And we are counting on you to make Brazil an increasingly safer place for women. It's misogyny, it's sexism, but these are agreements like the one you made. Brazil against femicide, and we [musicians] know we will be able to make progress. I'm going to tell you why I made the pact against femicide. Violence against women is not a violence perpetrated by women. She is a victim. After we created the pact in February of this year, we approved 11 laws by August. We issued four decrees and five ordinances. I am a victim. I went to the Brazilian Women's Center, spoke with the psychologist and lawyer, and they talk there, because if I hadn't reported it today, I might not be here. I was treated very well. You [musician] requested the restraining order, it will be issued in a few hours. How long did it take? 24 hours. I've already dealt with her. 24 hours. That's how [music] works. It takes longer, months, than a year, like it used to. I went home right away and within 24 hours the protective order was in place and I'm receiving all the support from Casa da Mulher Brasileira. But thank God, thanks to the support the Lord is giving us regarding femicide, I escaped that.
