I held a Staff meeting. Key issues included contracts for producing protection systems for critical infrastructure and logistics. We reviewed in detail the needs of Ukrzaliznytsia, gas station networks, and specific critical enterprises that are particularly significant targets for Russian strikes.

Intelligence provided clear data on where Russia is concentrating most of its terrorist efforts under its approved plans. We have solutions for protection in place. In particular, we will significantly strengthen the electronic warfare capabilities and increase procurement volumes – the contracts have been confirmed. The work of designated mobile fire groups and air defense lines will also be reorganised.

I instructed the Ministry of Finance to allocate additional resources for logistics needs. I thank all our partners working with us to keep railway operations running without interruption. We discussed challenges and possible joint steps with our partners to strengthen logistics security in border areas adjacent to EU countries and Moldova.

There was also a report on Ukrzaliznytsia’s capabilities to repair rolling stock and on equipment supplies. It's important that partner support for Ukrzaliznytsia continue, and that state-owned banks support it as well. The Government of Ukraine is preparing decisions on backup logistics routes in frontline regions, and algorithms for combining rail and bus routes have been developed. We also updated the tasks for protecting critical infrastructure facilities – the details are not public. I am grateful to Ihor Klymenko for his thorough organization of the Staff’s work.
