𝟐𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐘

Ethiopia has been, and remains, a steadfast voice in Africa’s continental journey, from the OAU to the African Union ( @_AfricanUnion ), with Addis Ababa serving as the home of our continental Union. As we mark this day, we reaffirm the vision of an integrated and prosperous Africa, while looking ahead to the next frontier of our collective progress.

In this spirit, and in my capacity as the African Union’s Champion for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health, I call on Africa’s leaders and youth to embrace technological sovereignty and shape our digital future on our own terms. Ethiopia stands ready to build that future alongside our fellow Africans.
