Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Participates in German-Iraqi Business Dialogue Forum Held in Berlin ••••• Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi participated today, Tuesday, in the German-Iraqi Business Dialogue Forum, held in the German capital, Berlin, under the theme “Economic Bridges for a Shared Future,” attended by a group of business leaders and representatives of major German companies. During the forum, the Prime Minister affirmed that Iraq and Germany share many areas of common ground, describing Germany as a major industrial country with which the government looks forward to cooperating across various fields and sectors. He noted that Iraq today is shaping the contours of a new economy and a promising economic identity, and needs productive partnerships to support its development path. Prime Minister Al-Zaidi reviewed Iraq’s investment map, which includes the energy sector, oil and petrochemical industries, the phosphate industry, clean energy, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as support for the government’s programs in the field of automation. He also presented the government’s comprehensive plans, which are based on implementing a set of financial, tax, and banking reforms aimed at enhancing the investment environment and supporting economic growth. The Prime Minister invited German companies to invest in Iraq, affirming the government’s readiness to provide the necessary investment environment and overcome all obstacles that may hinder their operations.
