Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, noted that a meeting took place with key architects, independent experts, urban planners, representatives from top specialized studios, and higher education institutions to discuss the future development of the capital.
The focus is on how new construction affects urban infrastructure, including the strain on engineering networks and social facilities, the supply of energy and water, and the importance of balanced development in specific areas.
“New construction should develop the city, not create additional imbalances or overload its systems”, Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized.
According to her, the authorities are ready to assist businesses that implement projects to improve the quality of the urban environment. The development of a more comfortable, environmentally friendly, clean, and safe Tashkent for residents and guests of the capital was under discussion.
It was noted that support for responsible business aligns with the priorities of the New Uzbekistan policy and the tasks set by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
