​Damascus, Sept. 15 (SANA)Minister of Economy and Industry Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Damascus, Alnur Shah Huseynov, ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, alongside several issues of mutual interest.

​TheMinistry of Economyand Industry stated via its Telegram channel on Tuesday that Huseynov extended an official invitation to Minister al-Shaar from the Azerbaijani Minister of Economy to participate in the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, scheduled to take place in the capital,Baku, on Sept. 25 and 26.

​The forum serves as an international platform bringing together government officials, investors, and representatives of economic and financial institutions to showcase investment opportunities, strengthen economic partnerships, and exchange expertise and experiences.
