Damascus, Sept. 15 (SANA)Director of the European Affairs Department at Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ExpatriatesSally Shobatmet on Tuesday with Swiss State Secretary for MigrationVincenzo Mascioliand his accompanying delegation to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides reviewed avenues for developing bilateral ties and discussed political cooperation aimed at supporting the safe, dignified and sustainable return of Syrian refugees.

The talks also emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to promote stability and create the necessary conditions and facilities to enable refugee return.

The meeting comes as part of ongoing dialogue betweenSyriaandSwitzerlandon issues of mutual interest, particularly migration, refugee affairs and efforts related to stability and cooperation.kA/MF
