Damascus, Sept. 15 (SANA)Syrian Interior MinisterAnas Khattabmet on Tuesday with a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic ofSudanin Damascus, headed by Chargé d’Affaires Khaled Mohammed Ali Hassan, to discuss bilateral issues and ways to strengthen coordination between the two countries.

The Sudanese delegation included Counselor Hashim Bashir Mohammed Ahmed and Consul Mohammed Bashir Mohammed Ahmed.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and discussed mechanisms for coordinating joint efforts and enhancing cooperation.

The meeting was attended on the Syrian side by Brigadier General Othman Hilal, Director of the Immigration and Passports Department, and Colonel Abdul Rahim Jabara, Director of the International Cooperation Department.

The meeting reflects ongoing communication between Syria and Sudan and efforts to strengthen bilateral coordination.
