Riyadh, Sept. 14 (SANA)Saudi Civil Defense issued early warnings on Monday for Khamis Mushait,Jazan,AbhaandNajran, urging residents to move to safe locations and follow precautionary measures amid concerns over a potential threat.

In alerts posted on X, Civil Defense told residents to remain in the nearest safe place until the danger had passed, avoid exposed and hazardous areas and follow instructions from the relevant authorities.

The warnings come after a series of attacks in southernSaudi Arabiain recent days.

Two people were injured on Saturday after a projectile fired by the Houthi militia fell in al-Tuwal Governorate in the southwestern Jazan region.

Dozens of people, including women and children, were also injured last Tuesday in Houthi militia attacks on civilian and economic facilities in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran.
