Six Memoranda of Understanding Signed Between Iraq and France During Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi’s Visit to Paris ••••• Under the auspices of Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and French President Emmanuel Macron, six memoranda of understanding between Iraq and France were signed today, Monday, at the Élysée Palace in the French capital, Paris, covering various fields and sectors of bilateral economic cooperation, as follows: 1. A Letter of Intent between the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and Harmattan AI on strategic cooperation in the field of air defense. 2. A Declaration of Intent between the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and the French Ministry of the Armed Forces on securing French military equipment within the framework of rebuilding and developing Iraq’s defense capabilities. 3. A Declaration of Intent on partnership to enhance opportunities for youth, research, and innovation between the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. 4. A Declaration of Intent between the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its French counterpart on strengthening the partnership with the French Development Agency (AFD). 5. A Cooperation Protocol concerning a contract for the supply and sale of gas between the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity and TotalEnergies. 6.
