Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Meets President of the Arab World Institute in Paris ••••• Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met, today, Monday, in the French capital, Paris, with President of the Arab World Institute Anne-Claire Legendre. During the meeting, they reviewed Iraqi-French relations and underscored the importance of continuing to develop them in the cultural and social fields. The Prime Minister affirmed that Iraq is moving firmly toward comprehensive development to remain part of shaping regional and international solutions. He noted that the government is working to build a stronger economy capable of addressing current challenges by diversifying its sources and attracting investment. The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of confronting the threat of extremism and discrimination in all its forms, stressing Iraq’s commitment to presenting a civilized model based on respect for others and consolidating the principles of equality and justice to uphold the rule of law, strengthen the role of institutions, and safeguard citizens’ rights. For her part, the President of the Arab World Institute underscored the importance of bilateral relations and her commitment to supporting Iraq’s approach and economic vision aimed at achieving stability and prosperity.
