Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 14 (SANA)One Palestinian was wounded byIsraeli forcesand 15 others were detained on Monday during raids across several areas of the occupiedWest Bank, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Israeli forces raided Beit Ula, west ofHebron, and pursued a young man before opening live fire on his vehicle, wounding him, WAFA said.

The forces detained 15 Palestinians during raids in Tubas, Beit Ummar and Dura in Hebron, Qabatiya and Jalbun inJenin, the Dheisheh and Aida refugee camps in Bethlehem, and Urif in Nablus.Israeli forces also set up military checkpoints at entrances to Hebron and surrounding towns and villages, restricting Palestinian movement, while closing the entrances to Deir Ghazaleh, east of Jenin, and al-Laban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.

On Sunday, Israeli forces detained eight Palestinians during raids in Jenin and several surrounding towns and villages. The raids included searches of homes and field interrogations.
