I inherited 140 federal institutes, I will deliver 802, and I want to reach 1000. Of the 340 campuses in federal units in the history of Brazil, I was responsible for 200 of them. Just to say that when I talk about education, it's because a prisoner in a maximum security prison costs R$ 40,000 per year. A student studying space pharmacy at the Federal University of OBC costs only R$ 20,000. A prisoner in the regular São Paulo police force costs R$ 35,000 per year. For a student to take, you know, a course at the Federal Institute, it costs only R$ 16,000. This means it's much cheaper to prevent people from becoming criminals than to imprison them later.
