Aden, Sept. 13 (SANA)TheYemeniNetwork for Rights and Freedoms (YNRF) documented 958 crimes and violations committed by theHouthi militiabetween September 3 and 11 in six districts along the western coast of Hodeidah and Taiz provinces, according to a report cited by Yemen’s Saba News Agency.

The report said the documented violations took place in Hays and al-Khawkhah districts in Hodeidah province, and al-Wazi’iyah, Mawza, Mocha andDhubab districts in Taiz province.

The violations included killings, injuries, arrests, abductions, raids, looting and the seizure of private property and civilian and humanitarian facilities. YNRF said raids and looting targeted 356homes and facilities.

The report added that the escalation led to the displacement of about 2,300 families comprising 19,440 people, a figure separate from the total number of documented violations.

According to the report, the incidents occurred amidmilitary escalation and attackson populated areas, villages and neighborhoods, resulting in civilian casualties, displacement, arrests, abductions, enforced disappearances and raids on property and facilities.

YNRF documented 177 direct killings of civilians, including women and children, according to the report.

The cases included 38 sniper killings, 42 field executions of wounded people and 53 field executions ofmilitary prisoners, in addition to 23 deaths caused by indiscriminate projectiles, 12 by direct gunfire and nine resulting from being run over by Houthi vehicles.

The report also documented 212 injuries, including among women and children, while the fate of about 39 injured people remains unknown. It expressed concern that they may have been subjected to enforced disappearance after being abducted from medical facilities.

YNRF further recorded 213 arrests and abductions of civilians, alongside raids and the establishment of barriers and checkpoints in western coastal areas.

In Mocha district alone, YNRF saidHouthi attacksdisplaced 823 families, including 3,481 women and children, warning that displacement could increase if the escalation continues.

The network called on the international community, theUnited Nations and humanitarianand human rights organizations to act to protect civilians, ensure humanitarian access and reveal the fate of missing and forcibly disappeared people.

It also called for the protection of wounded people, patients, medical facilities and humanitarian workers.

YNRF demanded independent and transparent investigations into the documented violations and accountability for those responsible, warning that continued impunity could encourage further abuses and increase the humanitarian impact of the conflict.
