Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Reaffirms Government’s Commitment to Supporting and Developing Security Institutions ••••• Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi presided today, Saturday, over the graduation ceremony for students of the Police College’s 56th Advanced Officers Class (Lions of Mesopotamia Class) and the 31st Class of the Higher Institute for Security and Administrative Development. In remarks delivered during the ceremony, the Prime Minister congratulated all graduates and their families on their graduation and successful completion of their training. He affirmed that they will constitute an important addition to the security and military institutions in serving the state and its constitutional and legal institutions. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces stated that the graduates of the Lions of Mesopotamia Class will enter service at a critical and sensitive juncture, as Iraq stands at an important threshold where their role is needed to consolidate all pillars of sovereignty, combat corruption, restore the strength of Iraq’s historic standing, and reinforce civil and societal peace.
