Damascus, Sept. 12 (SANA)Syria has strongly condemned the targeting of theEast-West oil pipelinein Saudi Arabia’sRiyadhand Madinah regions by drones originating from Iraqi territory, expressing full solidarity with the Kingdom and support for measures taken to protect its security and stability.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Saturday, the Syrian Arab Republic said the attack caused casualties and significant damage, describing it as a violation ofSaudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

The ministry reaffirmedSyria’s complete support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its efforts to safeguard its security and stability.
